Official Rules

​

  1. Limit of 400 tickets to be sold

  2. One ticket per each $40.00 donation.

  3. Ticket Sales begin on Saturday, October 6th and continue until December 25th , 2018.

  4. Friends of Lake County Young Guns (FOLCYG)reserves the right to cancel the raffle if a minimum of 150 tickets are not sold. All monies will be refunded.   All prizes are new, factory made firearms.

  5. By obtaining a raffle ticket you attest that you are a law-abiding citizen of good moral character, may legally possess the firearm(s) won, have intention of using the firearm(s) only in a legal and safe manner, and will or have already obtained instruction on the safe use and operation of the firearm(s) won.

  6. Winner must be able to pass a Background check.

  7. One drawing will be held for all 5 prizes and will be held on December 28th, 2018.

  8. All firearms won are subject to availability and FOLCYG reserves the right to make substitutions of equal or greater value.

  9. Drawings will be live streamed on our Facebook page. Winning ticket numbers and firearm won will be posted on the website www.youngguns4h.org/2018-raffle

  10. Proceeds of the 5 prize gun raffle benefit the Lake County Young guns 4h shooting sports club.

  11. You must be at least 21 years old and a legal resident of the United States to purchase a ticket.

  12. Winners must be at least 21 years old to take possession of a rifle or shotgun.  Prizes are not transferable. The person designated on the ticket must claim the prize. Note:  Tickets should not be made out to children below the age of 21, as they will not be able to take possession of any firearms.

  13. Winners need not be present to win. Winners will be notified, using the name and phone number, that the purchaser has written or requested to be on ticket stub. In the event that FOLCYGs is unable to contact the winner it is the sole responsibility for the winning ticket holder to contact FOLCYG or Lake County Young Guns to claim their prize. Prizes are not transferable, the person designated on the ticket must claim the prize. IF WINNERS ARE NOT ABLE TO BE REACHED AFTER 3 ATTEMPS, AND THE WINNER HAS NOT CONTACTED FOLCYG OR LCYG AND MORE THAN 10 DAYS HAVE PASSED A NEW TICKET WILL BE DRAWN.

  14. ALL PRIZES MUST BE CLAIMED, AND TRANSFER COMPLETED WITHIN 60 DAYS OF THE SCHEDULED DATE THE TICKET IS DRAWN.

  15. If a winner is ineligible to receive a prize under relevant state, federal or local laws and regulations, the prize will be forfeited, and no substitution will be provided.  This includes, but not limited to, failure to pass a background check.

  16. Raffle is void where prohibited.

  17. All Federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) rules apply.

  18. All firearm transfers will be done through a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealer, and all applicable Federal and State laws will apply, including the state laws for the legal residence of winning ticket holder.

  19. Winners will be responsible for any applicable Federal, State and local taxes and transfer fees.

  20. Winning ticket holder must make transfer through the FOLCYG selected dealer, and in accordance with all applicable laws.

  21. In the event winners need or wish to have the firearm(s) won transferred to their local FFL dealer closer to their residence, shipping and any other additional costs involved with the transfer will be the responsibility of winner, and arrangements must be made directly with the FOLCYG selected FFL dealer.

  22. Winners are required to verify that ownership of the firearm(s) won is legal in their state, city or town, prior to taking possession of won prize(s).

  23. Winning ticket numbers are eligible for the remaining drawings. All sold ticket numbers are in each drawing. (You can win more than once per ticket!)

  24. At no time will FOLCYG take possession of any of the firearms involved in this raffle; winners will receive firearms directly from a FFL dealer only, all applicable laws will apply.

  25. FOLCYG limits any and all liability to the purchase price of ticket purchased.
